Virtual Greetings from Iowa - The Hawkeye State

Known for its endless cornfields, picturesque rural landscapes, and strong agricultural roots, Iowa holds a quiet charm that’s impossible not to love. From tractor trails to small-town fairs, this state radiates hard work, home, and heart—and that’s exactly what inspired this pixelated quilt design.

✨ Say Hello to The Hawkeye State Quilt Pattern

My Home Pattern Series wouldn’t be complete without Iowa!

The Hawkeye State Quilt Pattern includes:

  • A throw-size pixelated quilt

  • Two mini quilt designs

  • Step-by-step instructions

  • Appliqué templates for the minis

  • And a bonus appliqué heart you can place on the city you call home ❤️

For the pattern cover, I chose a color palette of yellow and green to reflect Iowa’s deep ties to agriculture—especially its status as the nation’s top corn producer—and to honor John Deere, who established manufacturing roots in the state in the 1800s.
